After too long in the garage I fitted the ICT 34s to the 1776 about 3-4 weeks ago in place
of a 32/36 progressive
BUT it was only on Saturday I could get the bus out for a quick test drive. Well like err WOW.
I reckon about 20% better performance. Accelerating up hills in 3rd and more. I was astonished. I know teh 32/36 was never opening #2 choke fully even after much fettling of throttle levers etc.. but it was also a bit of a pig to start.
Just hope that the linkage holds together as it is all a bit heath robinson..
looking forward to a longer trip soon. Stanford hall anyone ?
