I remember last year we had a small campaign on here to support Rage Against The Machine vs. The X Factor ...

Ive just heard the midweek charts, and X Factor is at number one, first time Id heard the cover of Biffy Clyro .... man its bad No passion, no feeling, completely sanitised.)

Seems the most likely alternative is The Trashmen and Surfing Bird :mrgreen: . I reckon it would make an excellent festive hit.

Are you guys downloading it, and spreading the word? Go on .... :lol:

Much as though I would like to join in this campaign, as a family guy watcher, the surfing bird tune has found its way into my head far too many times already :lol: (they seem to show that episode every other week)

I agree x factor is bollox though, and it makes it completely unfair for artists that havent had 4 months of free tv advertising running up to the chrimbo no1, so I think I may go for the 4 minutes of silence :lol:

For my daughter, I went to the X Factors losers Gig at Vanfest this year.

3 of the acts each covered 'Sex On Fire'. Ruined.

I think the 4 mins of silence track is about no. 20 in the midweeks, so no chance of making the top ...
