Why is it you are looking to install out of interest?

I agree with AGC. We've installed quite a few Dynamat type sheets to the engine bay and they do make a difference. We normally stick it to all the interior facing panels. It can be quite labour intensive to do properly with all the cleaning and prep of oilly panels.

How much is it lowered by?

To cut a hole in asbestos you'd be required to use a specialist contractor. I'd imagine they would use a standard hole saw in a drill with water to supress the dust on the outside, on the inside they would take a bag to catch any debris and dust. All this while wearing asbestos masks with...

Just to summarise: A late bay cab door lock and handle will fit an early bay even if the barrel is different. A late bay sliding door lock and handle will not fit an early door as the lock and handle are seperate units; the early unit has the lock and handle combined.

Do you mean cab door locks? If so then there is no difference.

As long as the connections are rated appropriately for the wires then that wouldn't be a problem.
