hey all, searched forums but cant seem to find help.

1972 1700 type 4 motor. 1972 campmobile.

So motor runs well when i can start it. i have the charger on it all night but when i go to start it it sounds dead, barely turns over, maybe 5 turns. charger says fully charged. When i jump it it starts and turns over with passion, will run fine after. I know your thinking battery, but its a brand new red top battery which is supposed to be the mack daddy. at a bit of a loss here. i guess i might have bought crap battery but i wanted to rule out any other other issues.

feedback is greatly appreciated.

Just put a volt meter on battery make sure it putting out 13.50 - 14.50 anything lower your battery not being charged and can cause your battery to give up the ghost.

If it happens again in another scenario, you could also swap the battery on to another vehicle and see if you also swap the problems.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,glad it was an easy one for you bud :)
