Oh No, that’ll be another thing on my to do list. I reckon I saw the same thread and Ive been toying with it on and off for a while. I also think video footage to be a fantastic back up to your story and credibility if there’s ever any damage or collision. Or on second thoughts when you’re looking at playback, you may wish to NOT mention that you have recorded footage of any minor indiscretions .

Ozziedog,,.,,,,, fab addition for sure :)

Cheers Ozzie 👍.

Other than connecting up the reverse wire to automatically trigger the rear view mirror when reverse is selected, it really is plug and play …

… Well apart from the obvious slithering around under the van to do the front to back cable 🙈

Treated Winnie to a new Pierburg Fuel pump, the old one was looking past its best. Fuel delivery into regulator looks a lot more consistent than it did before with the old one 👍.

Saw the pump on another thread, free delivery from Germany 👍.

Hi @matty74
Loving catching up on your thread!

I presume this is so you can keep an eye on the fuel easily?
As apposed to crawling under the bus to have a look at the smaller inline filter?

Easy to fit? And where did you get it from please? I’ve been toying with the idea of fitting one for ages!!
Thanks
Ben

Cheers @Ben72Bay 👍

I fitted the Malpassi Filter King when I changed over to twin webers the other year, so I could accurately set the fuel pressure.
This is after the fuel pump so I still have the standard fuel fliter under the van as well as fuel shut off solenoid.

I don’t normally run with the pressure gauge fitted, (normally blanked off) I just wanted to double check things after I changed to the pierburg fuel pump recently (which also has a filter 🤣)

It works a treat and was a great way to split the fuel into the 2 necessary feeds for each carb and yes also see the fuel bowl filling nicely.

I got all the gear (including carbs) from Eurocarb 👍 but they’re also on eBay.

That looks ace, decent quality too. Any down sides or negatives?
Yes It seems really well built, I guess time will only tell. Didn’t want the 12” type as I thought that’d look too big.

Only negative … crawling under the van 🙈🤣
