    Dilemma

I have a choice to make chaps and I'm not sure which way to go............. My new bus will be ready in a few weeks and at the moment I have the option of keeping it on our drive (safely behind gates and within our curtilage) or it could live in our single garage. The thing is our garage is...

    waxoyl Guide

First job I'm looking to do to my 1971 bus when I collect it is give it a good waxoyl. I've been looking on the web for a video or picture guide to doing this but can't find a specific bus guide for this procedure. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

    Buffing up orginal paint

I have a 'new' 71 Deluxe with orginal paint and sun bleaching and I want to buff it up and get the best finish that I can. I've heard that some of the more mainstream products can be a bit harsh on old paint work, so can anyone offer some advice and maybe some products that will suit this...

    Which Bus Books?

Hi, My bus - 1971 Deluxe will be ready for me in about two months and I am wanting to maintain it (as much as possible) myself. The body and chassis appear very sound and there are no rust issues, so I am mainly interested in keeping the 'rest of it' (technical term there  ) going and...

    Buying 'Bits'

I'm new to this VW game and wonder if there is 'one' supplier that does the best quality bits and bobs for a bus? At the moment I'm looking for a Nose Badge for a 71 Deluxe Microbus, I've seen different shops selling what looks to me to be the 'same' thing but at different prices. Personally I...
