    1967 Neptune Blue Deluxe

I bet it's nice when you remove stuff and find good news! Gives you a nice bump to push on! Good idea about the new washer jet hose - that's a job on my list :) Just wondering why somebody would cut the rods? And as for replacing the window mech - that's not a job I want to do again in a hurry :D

    Dash top and door mirror

Hi, I'm hoping for some guidance as I was planning to refit my dash top at the weekend but seemed to have an odd mixture of speed/p-clips (some in body colour so presumably original). However some of theses clips were too big for the 8 screws (large flat head) which I presume are the correct...

Tyres / Stance Thread - Lets see what ya runnin!

Yep. Titian red (67/68 model year colour) - and the original colour that my bus left the factory in. It's a wacky colour as it can look different shades of red depending on the light.

Tyres / Stance Thread - Lets see what ya runnin!

Not the final ride/stance - but gives you an idea... T2d#Slamworks 4" narrowed beam + dropped spindles (would swap beam for a 2" version), T2d adj rear spring plates, narrowed rear end (1" each side I think), American Eagle Centerline wheels (155/60 front 185/65 rear)

    DRONES

I don't have a drone, but do recall watching an episode of the Gadget Show (which was in no way related to our great Earlybay brother @Gadget Boy ) where they tested a few drones with the follow-me capability. As you'll see, all of them got caught in trees etc as their object-avoidance...

    Parts Wanted Front door cards

Not sure what you mean??? I have a twin slider and both door cards are identical - and therefore either door card could be used on a left or right side sliding door. Did you even look at the pictures I posted above???

    Parts Wanted Front door cards

Yes, there is/was no opposite panel. My bus is a twin slider and it doesn't have the long opposite panel (it has two sliding door cards - which are identical, so could be used on a lhd or rhd bus)

    67 DeLuxe

Question for you Mike. Do you have a painted dash? If so, you might want to get that painted too - in case it doesn't match the new Titian red paint. If not, you'll be staring at it every time you drive the bus and saying to yourself :)

    Parts Wanted Front door cards

I have both cab doors (need new backing, air vents also need fixing as they are broken mid-way), both bulkhead, one sliding door (can be used for either side lhd or rhd), both rear quarter/sides (adjacent to rear bench seat - have arm rests too). Was looking for £170 for all the remaining...

    Parts Wanted Front door cards

I've got almost a full set of cards - in decent order - from my 68 deluxe (so they have the chrome trim). However, the fronts will need new backing cards (and repairs to the air ducts if you want to keep/use them).

    67 DeLuxe

Nice one Mike - although once you start uncovering the life that the bus has had before you it can become daunting (an sometimes more ££) - but hang in there, it'll be worth it. 67/68 Titian reds rule!!! ;)

Sold For sale: rear bench seat and z-hinges

Hi, I'm 99% sure that the backrest does not attach to the base of the seat - as if it was it wouldn't allow the seats to be unfolded into the "bed" position. I did google for fitting instructions but can't find anything :( I'll see if I have any older pics of when the seat was fitted in my...

Re-installing air box controls and ducting

Hi, Before I put the dash top back in my bus I need to re-install all the plastic ducting and also re-connect the front panel/flap control rods. Q1: Does anybody have a full diagram showing how it all plumbs together (I found the following on VW Heritage site)? Q2: The air box flap control...
