Sell "as is" or fix rust issues and then sell?

6.5k pounds! Looks like I'll be buying some panels and doing some welding! Will I have to repsray the entire bus, or just the new bits? The 2k paint is still pretty fresh, so if I got the same colour code, hopefully it would all buff up the same?

Sell "as is" or fix rust issues and then sell?

I should add that the rust is not at all visible from the outside. Probably fillered over and coated with a shiny 2k paint. Rear side window and wheel arch rust was only evident when I took off the interior trim. Wheel arch rust can also be seen when ya look in the engine bay on the same side...

Sell "as is" or fix rust issues and then sell?

Hi, Please can you give me some advice because I really don't know what to do......what is my best option to get the most money back when I sell my bus? Do i sell it "as is", with some rust repairs to do, or fix the rust and then sell it? I bought a '68 bay a few months ago, with the intention...

    After market shifters

Don't get the empi one because when its in first gear, it gets in the way of the handbrake! You have to put it in 3rd gear so you can get the handbrake on properly!

Wah, my steering has a mind of it's own!

A classic sign that your steering damper is gone....is if your steering shudders when you're driving at around 35-40mph even on a flat smooth road.

Wah, my steering has a mind of it's own!

Not sure if a split is the same as a bay steering box, but this is how you do the bay box. Adjustments must be made with the wheels pointing straight ahead. There is an adjusting screw on the side of the steering box. You'll know it because there is a locking nut on it too. What you have to...

    Wanted Indicator Relay

I've discovered that a standard modern plastic three-pin flasher relay works fine.

    Weber 34 ICTs for sale

Not sure, could be around £30 from Ireland. Or I'm heading over to Centre Parcs in Longleat in the last week of November, so I could take them with me and post them from there either.

    Another ICT question!!!

Heres mine. Looks like there were two balance pipes connected across between the carbs on mine. Maybe the small one is meant as a vacuum take off for a vac distributor? But then why is there one on each carb? Surely you would only need one vacuum take off point?

    Engine re-assembly Update

I put a firewall in my '68 a couple of weeks ago. Just remember to get an early firewall because the early ones are flat on the bottom, but the late ones are more rounded and won't fit. Think I paid about £30 for mine.
