Mine look like these: I thought that the 72's were flat as opposed to angled screwed in! Maybe it was 73 upwards ;-)

Your profile says 1972 which are not angled (forgive me if it's for another build!). I have some original chrome ones that will fit a 72.

I used to have a set. For what's it's worth they were crap in my opinion. All the suckers kept falling off, they never fit the window properly. Really bad quality (and I think I bought good ones). Very dissapointed ;-( Great for a quick fix though.

There is one black one which is for an early bay, but I need two chrome ones ;-( Just spotted that VWHeritage now stock them at £18 each without the plastic inserts or something like that.

Just bought these, they look great but don't fit my 1969 early bay ;-( I suspect they are for 1970+ if someone could confirm that would be great. I think they also fit early bugs and type 3s. £15 delivered

Just stuck my hand behind the dash to be met with sparks and smoke and melting wires. Ran to the engine lid and took me a while to find my 13mm spanner for the battery. Anyway, got it off and removed the dash pod. Turns out the main wire which runs from the battery (via starter) to the front...
