002 gearbox/transmission gasket replacement

Before the 'box goes back in my '71 Dormobile, I'm replacing the gaskets and seals on it.

I've done the clutch-housing one (easy, part 17 below), the nose cone/selector housing is off (easy, part 6 below) but I can't remove the gear housing (part 34). I guess there are things to remove/unclip etc. before it releases but having trouble finding any good info on it. Is it OK to do this without disturbing things too much?

Well, van's been off the road for 5 years and I've no idea what state the gearbox was in before so while engine and gearbox are out thought I'd replace bits that I could replace...

...maybe a re-think is on the cards then...
