Hi, we are off to Glastonbury and I normally connect my fridge with gas but as it will be in the awning, I am thinking of running it off the leisure battery with an invertor. Can IO do this and how long would the battery last?

thanks

poss 3-4 hrs, they are only really designed to run on gas unless it is a marine type, check the amp draw down on the fridge I have a marine that draws around 2amp/hr and we get 3 to 4 days out of it depending if the dvd is used.

cheers fella - can i run it on gas inside an awning? Its a Khyam Sleeper so its pretty big

yes you can - no problem. Just make sure the exit on the fridge is well clear of the tent since it gets hot.
