1641cc over 1600cc is it worth it?

As the title says really, i need to replace the heads on my engine as they are both cracked and want to know peoples opinions on going for a 1641 cc upgrade over the stock 1600cc??

I wouldn't bother unless the B&P's need replacing, then you might as well, but you'll be hard pushed to notice the "less than a moped's" worth of increased CC's.
 
IMO not just on their own, your better off saving the money and spending time match porting and polishing up the inlets on the new heads! I have a 1641single port in my bug but that also has an Engle 110 grind cam and 34ICT's. Match ported the inlet manifolds with the heads and noticed a difference!
 
And don't I know it! Buses have more in common with concrete blocks!!

Mind you the bug feels like a balls out drag racer off the lights after I have been driving the bus for a while!
 
1641's are bad news in buses the absolutely minimal power increase is not worth shortening your engine's lifespan
