Fresh in from the USA with everything done to get it ready to roll, this super cool 68 deluxe. Coming from Arizona the conditions have weathered the paint beautifully.
Front beam has been lowered and has had nearly everything replaced. Track rods, needle bearings, swivel pin, ball joint rubbers, flexi hoses, wheel bearings, brake cylinders and shoes have all been replaced. At the back the rear has been lowered, rubber boots have been replaced, fuel lines replace and a rebuilt 1600 twinport engine with new carb and clutch has been installed.
The underneath is rock solid and was also commented on by the mot tester.
Body is as you'd expect, worn paint (80% original), solid rust and dings and dents and a really cool sticker that has burnt it's image into the paint. There is evidence of a repair along the long panel which could be painted, but I think it adds to the ratty look of the van.
Wheels are Empi sprints in very good condition with near new tyres. These can be replaced if preferred for some rollers for less money.
Interior is still sporting the rear bench seat, rubber mat and not alot else. Put Z hinges on the rear seat and turn it into a bed or ditch it completely and put your own interior in.
It has 12 months tax and test, registered, and ready for somebody to drive and put their mark on it.
I'm sure there's more but I can't think at the moment.
Van is based in Stafford and can be viewed almost whenever. £7995ono (£7695ono without the wheels)
