This is a 1968 Early Bay 1600cc Riviera Conversion.
American period conversion when new based on the Westifaila layout, interior very original. It's a very early panel conversion and shares the same style aluminium windows with the equivalent Split Screen Riviera.
Cab area and all doors fitted with new Newton Commercial Black vinyl and carpet set.
Very dry rust free US import.
The Camper comes with full 1 year MOT (renewed for buyer) & Tax free!
Fitted security systems
I have owned the van since August 2008 and it is a very reluctant sale.
The van runs and drives very well, was family owned and look after in the US so not your typical abandoned desert import.
Thoroughly serviced and maintained, service history and original owner’s handbook.
1600cc Single Port engine fitted with twin Weber 34 ICT’s, electronic ignition, merged header and quite pack.
Runs easily at about 65/70mph on motorways
Returns 25-30 MPG!!!
Lowered on Genuine SA Sprintstars by T2D using front beam adjuster and adjustable spring plates, new ball joint fitted at the same time.
Loads of other extra fitted and parts replaced which are not mentioned receipts available.
Any rust found since ownership has been cut out and replaced correctly using Alan Schofield panels, photographic evidence of everything carried out.
Underneath of the van and body is completely solid and will not need any welding.
