1969 VW panel van for sale iv had this bus for about 10 years found it in a shed close to where i live it took about 4 years to get back on the road it was bare metaled the rear cargo area was the worst small amount of the rail, t tops passenger inner and outer sills a small amount in the cab area too, its had new arches and lower rear corners after welding eitch primer, primed and top coat, i then put a big bore 1776cc with twin 34 carbs very fast keeps up with the traffic or goes past them,all the breaking system has been striped out painted and replaced with new, stops well for drum breaks same old gearbox just cleaned up and given a few oil changes, new rubber all round where i started to do the new respray never finished it as i brought a 21 widow, iv done most of the work on this van its not been bodged as i used to run the resto shop of Dave Palmer ( Creative engineering ) about 15 years ago, it could do with a bit of sortin out front doors have a bit of rust underneath and botom of the slidin door needs sortin apart from that its a very solid bus
