Hi David,

Hope you are well? Yes the bus is running and we've done about 400miles. Had a couple of little issues, but it seems to be running OK.

It's certainly nice to have a bit more power to play with. We are going up to Camperjam next weekend, so hopefully it will make it.

How's your lovely bus going?

Great timing for the 1000 post, a trip to the rolling road.

To think I thought the cam burn to be scary.........this was worse! 6000rpm :shock: :shock:

The results.

The aim was to build a torquey stroker motor and that what I got. The inital runs showed that the mains were lean so the 137's were up'd to 145's. So ended up with 111lb/ft and 102.5 bhp.

Well pleased with my first build.

Stayed dry through the night but got properly soaked taking the tent down
Moved onto Dorset for a few days and had great weather.
We had an annexe for our kyham delivered whilst in Croyde and it was great in tne rain
Loved your van , the engine was very impressive and got me thinking
