My family and I are at it again, we just dropped our westy at the shipper's last monday now we wait to see when it actually leaves the docks so we can start doing travel arrangements.
We want to visit Bath, Windsor , Oxford and Cambridge this time around, any suggestions are welcome, we will have about 2 weeks to travel. Here are some pictures of our bus, I hope you like it.

What a lovely bus, and what an adventure. I hope all goes well with the shipping. If you come as far as Bath it may be worth a trip to Wales, Cardiff is a fantastic small city and then a trip around the Brecon Beacons.

Keep us posted on this and if you do visit Wales say hello.

Jon

Got to admit when you have the weather the beacons are very nice......

when are you hoping to land?

Looks very smart. You have chosen some prime destinations - I would certainly include the Cotswolds on your trip, should be easy to fit in with Oxford and Bath on your list. Some great villages both on and off the main tourist routes. And Jon is right, if time allows Wales has some beautiful areas of outstanding beauty and shouldn't be missed. Let us know your itinerary and enjoy the trip

Thank you all for your suggestions, I will check into Cotswolds, Beacons, Wales, Cardiff and of course any possible show would be great, I am waiting for the shippers ETA so I can have a better idea of my travel dates, but I think I might be around for Big Bang's show.

Lovely Bus you got there, But why leave sunny and warm california and come to a wet and cold UK

I would see some of the Uk then get over into Europe, my buddy from Cali comes over, can only stay in the Uk a few days then he gotta get to mainland Europe, he just sees the ~UK as the states with a lot more rules and worse weather, i tend to agree!!

I visited Windsor Castle last summer with my brother & his children, allow 4-5 hours to do the full tour.......
& an icecream from Mauds near the main gate :D

Thanks Aaron.
Dirty, hopefully in a few months the weather will be better on your side, we been planning this trip for a while now, we were supposed to go last september but a family member got very ill and we had to cancell last minute. So again we were able to match time off work and this is our chance. Besides driving on the wrong side of the road is addicting, this will be our third time taking a bus to the UK and Europe for travel. California weather is good year round so we won't be missing anything.

Aaron and Simon, we did get to travel to Europe on our first trip, but we used the ferry, we went to Brugues, Brussels, Antwerpen, Paris, and Normandy region camping in Etretat, Fencamp, Honfleur, it was the best time, all in one months time. This time around we only have a bit over 2 weeks and we have not been able to see most of the UK.
Windsor we are looking forward to visiting but now with an ice cream stop at Mauds is on, thanks Harlequin.

dont forget Glastonbury ,Tor hill and the Abbey, less than a hour from bath.

fantastic mate you will love it will you take the bus back to the states or sell it over here.

Cider sounds really good, where do I get the good stuff Robins?
Rusty, sadly It's gonna go up for sale once we are done with the trip, I have 2 more projects I have to deal with when I get back home.
