With work commencing shortly on my SO67R, I've only got space for one classic in my life so my trusty daily is up for grabs:
1981 Audi 80 (first registered on 15/12/1981)
It was a bit dark when I took these pictures last night, but here are some older shots when she was stock:
1588cc petrol, with a five speed gearbox. Just 93k miles in 29 years!, and I'm responsible for 13k of them since she became my daily in December '07. It's got 7 months MOT, and is taxed until the end of the month. I've got the original VAG folder with it too, complete with some old MOT's, tax discs, manual, and a few random bills.
She's utterly reliable. Starts first time everytime, and recent work includes:
Full service
Recon alternator (under guarantee)
New engine mounts
Replaced brake servo
The bodywork is in good unrestored condition, but there are a few blemishes as you'd expect on a car of this vintage.
The interior is really good too., with no rips or cracks anywhere. The padding in the drivers seat has gone, but it's still perfectly comfortable, and I have a spare seat in the same fabric which will come with the car as well.
It sits on GT Cupline shocks and springs, which lowers it 70mm at the front and 50mm at the back. I've also got a spare set of front struts that have been converted to coilovers which I've never got round to fitting, but they will be included too.
The wheels are 8Jx15 ET20 Power Tech's, fitted with brand new 195/45's.
