A friend of mine has five grand burning a hole in his pocket and want's a RHD, MOT'd, TAX exempt Bay. He's not fussy on the year or if it needs a little work etc.....

Anyone got or know of anything?

Thanks in advance.......

Spence :)

Been tracking stuff for 4 month's now and the average seems to be £6>8K,
even on e-bay they generally make that, lower cost item's seem to be very significant projects................
However the odd £5K pops up on Dubs4sale.com (at the moment the 5th one down (yellow '73) is on for £5K), or you could try PistonHeads.com - 7 pages worth at present -best of luck...JIM.

I've got a 72 xover that's going to be sold very soon...depends on what he wants?

it has a devon moonraker top - so not strictly original but is/will be 4 berth, it is stripped down at the moment as it is going to be painted

it has a 4" narrowed beam, and empi 5 spokes - new brakes all round and would come MOT'd

I have even thought about advertising it with a paint colour option..the only snag is it doesn't look like a £4.5k-£5k van stripped and sprayed in primer ...there's a rock and roll bed, saab seats and it will have a rudimentry interior.
It won't need any welding for a while as it's been gone through underneath and has new import doors....I know what's coming and I don't yet have any pics..........

D

the only reason it's for sale [or will be for sale] is because I have imported a 68, always wanted an early early bay ;) and this one is a westy made in feb 68...and that was a bit silly cos the shipping and exchange rate wasn't healthly!!
