Hi everyone!
New to the forum and thought you might like to see the ongoing resto of my 68.
Delila1.jpg

This is as bought apart from tidying up the interior, losing the spare wheel off the front, dropping her into the weeds on American eagle empi 5's.
About 6 years ago I started a light resto, namely just the front arches.
Think the following speaks for itself!!!!

The nice guys at FBIvw cut the 'a'posts from a 69' front clip they had lying around. (cheers fella's) needless to say I found there wasn't much left of mine when I removed the front skin!

Still had to repair the bottom 3ins of these.

NOS LHD cab floor in place. Just need to redrill for RHS.
That's it so far. The main loading area is done with all the usual suspects, outriggers, jacking points etc. (well ok.. all of it apart the main chassis rails had to be replaced!)

Hello mate and welcome 8)

superb job mate. quess there was a little rot in the front....

proper job!!!!!

love it, very good work mate!!!

First class job you appear to be doing there
Is this your first resto or have you done something like this before :?:

First full on resto....
Bit daunting at first but I guess you get used to cutting out a small bit of rot to find a bigger bit covered up with flat plate underneath...
The whole loading floor was in sheet steel not corrugated....saw me coming I guess.

another full on resto! cool!!

jsu watch the wood your using doesnt shrink, stretch or split, it might put something out of alignment.

good luck dude!
