2 questions

who won, you or the split (sorry if the vids explain, not watched em...)

&

where did you find your stash of jesus stickers?! i have a bit of a religious thing going on in the cab of my 69 deluxe and always on the lookout for additions : )

It's the correct coulors for the year, so is actually Brilliant Blue with a Cloud White Roof :)

That Split won by a massive margin have a look at the video's they are well worth a look,

As for the stickers I'm keeping my sources close to my chest, sorry, Took me about 5 months of searching the net and at shows to collate all of them! Only suggestion i will give you is search for American sticker shops, they love GOD over in the good 'ol U S of A ;)

Hey Alex,

Good to see the ERCO's being used for what they're intended 8)

Cheers,

Mike

Hey Mike,

Due to the offset on the erco's i can get my big 205, 70's under the arches so the erco's are staying put for now as my main rear set

They look the business anyways :D

They do indeed! We're your burnouts done on the same tyres (street tyres?) - you'll be going through a few sets then :)

Very nice and fast bus.
Tell us more about the engine combo.
It must be big to be this fast.

Excellent picture, there is something 'Thunderbird-like' about that picture you need a man on strings next to it.

Thanks Gents, thats why i love that pic, looks like a lil toy :D

It's my Trusty 1776cc Built by Mark and Matt @ Autotechniks that served me well in my last van too!

It was built and ready for me beginning of 2004,

I'd just about done my 500 mile run in when i ended up at Big Bang @ Santa Pod for my first ever time, I entered RWYB then and have pretty much run at 3 to 4 meetings a year since so probably in excess of 100 runs by now :)

As it's been my daily at several stages as well as my Holiday tool, i've done over 35,000 miles on it too :)

It's still running the same push rod tubes from the time it was built, It's never been apart!

When i swapped the engine over to this van the engine had a bit of a tidy up but thats it,

From Bosch 009 to FULL MSD ignition system
From DRLA36's to Weber 44's
Onto an external fuel pump
New valve springs
New Kennedy stage 1 Clutch and pressure plate

It runs 044 heads which have been hand ported
Engle 140 Cam
It was built with no expense spared and all brand new performance parts where used.

I'd definitely recommend Autotechniks for any Type 1 engine build or any Type 2 performance needs!
