I got a bit exited today so bought myself a new engine case, in the form of a CB performance Aluminium case, I also bought a new 82mm crank, both of which are at Stateside Performance being fettled, crank, clutch, flywheel and pulley are being balanced, and case is being machined for the oil cooler.

Looking forward to getting it back from Stateside and built up, probably just in time for the end of the season :p

Still plenty to do, but I'm getting there, fetteling the case has taken so much time, but I'm sure it will be worth it

So today, I treated the old girl to a shiny new back box

I had a look at the off the shelf systems, but nothing really did it for me, so I opted for a custom long life system

I thought I would post a long overdue update on my bay that I have owned coming up to 17 years, after many years of abuse and neglect I’m finally pulling my finger out and getting some work done on it to get it back to the reliable van it once was.

It’s currently running a 2110cc stroker that I’ve had rolling roaded at 124bhp and 150lb of torque, unfortunately it has never run right, I’ve put it down too misaligned piston rings, but that’s soon to be reviewed.

It’s currently stuck in 4th gear! I have no idea why..

I’ll try and post some updates if it’s progress as and when it happens but it is off to be worked on next Monday so hopefully I will have some updates soon.
