Sadly (because we've had a lot of fun together) I am selling my early bay. I have a few other projects taking up my time/waiting for me & space is tight.

I'm looking for £2,000 as is & with spare bits (see below).

I need a sunny day & some time to take some recent pics & will have a go at posting them but I can email some quickly to seriously interested people. This is collection only. I'm in Southwick, very near Brighton.

This is a project, failed the MOT last Spring (primarily welding in the cab area) and NO ENGINE (I’ve taken the engine out). It's got a tax disk valid til end Jan '08 (& it's exempt of course). If you know what you're doing with a welder (or know someone), know your way around a bus (or have friends who do) and have some time this isn't scary stuff. (If I had the space to work on it at my leisure I'd keep it).

The MOT tester (a VW enthusiast) was impressed at how sound the underneath was (from the cab backwards) - a shame that doesn't show up on the test certificates!

The failure: excessive corrosion both wheel arches/seatbelt mounts; offside front steering system fouling on anti-roll bar; steering system excessive free play; offside inner track rod & ball joint has excessive play; parking brake lever has no reserve travel; brake actuating linkage mounting excessively corroded (floorpan & wheelarch)

Advisories: heavy corrosion to front floorpan & front cross member; brake pipes slightly corroded (surface - front to rear & nearside rear); nearside wheel bearing has slight play.

Other things to note: I’ve taken the clutch cable & horn off (on another bus now), fuel sender tested & working but not connected to fuel gauge, bottom of sliding door rusted; inside bottoms of cab doors rusted out, bottom of engine lid & hatch rusted; some filler under side windows; battery tray needs replacing, gutters need attention.

Some good things?: pop top is sound w/1 bunk in place; camping interior w/cooker (not pretty but fully functioning - which is why it remained on my to do list); all door cards; overhead locker; curtains on gliss track (all round, full privacy)

I have some bits to go with it if wanted - 2 complete door seal kits; primed engine lid; uncut dash (black); brake lines; and boxes of bits & bobs too varied to list.

I've tried to write down everything I can think of (good & bad) but I'm very happy to try to answer any questions.

so no engine no mot loads of welding  and its 2 grand :? anything else winning lottery ticket :(
