THE GTI BUS........
Time for a change, I've owned this bus for 8 years now & still love it, but gonna have a go at a t25.
69 rhd earlybay tin top.
The body work has been kept up tougher over the years, having work done when needed.
It's had all the out riggers & jacking points done, cross members,sills,rear arches,corners,front arches & front panel.
Just had imported engine lid & rear hatch fitted too.
Empi sprintster ssp alloys in very good condition.
4 new tyres
its had new seals all round, front cab doors have had all new window scrapers & trim.
opening front 1/4 light windows
The interior is basic but worked for us.
Full size rusty lee rock n roll bed, buddy box seat & setting running down the side.
The interior panels have been trimmed using old coffee sacks.
The front cab seats have been restored, the frames have been sand blasted & powder coated, new seat padding with new fitted covers.
17 inch wood rim steering wheel, empi shifter.
Rev counter, side & back jail bars.
have a folder full off receipts off all work ive had done on van.
the engine was fitted professionally buy a garage that specialise in classic vws
The engine,
(091) 6 rib late bay 2L gearbox.
2.0 8v gti engine conversion using the t25 diesel parts to fit. Mid mounted radiators underneath in the chassis rail.
This bus keeps up with every day traffic & good on fuel.
Has a custom made stainless steel exhaust.
new 12 month mot.
Cam belt change(see pic)
Tax exempt though you will have to get tax with the new tax system.
