Having replaced the fuel lines with the recommend sae spec hose in the engine bay due to strong fumes,I checked the condition of the filler pipe and tank, filler pipe looks like the original so needs replacing, tank looks on 1st inspection ok but I want to replace all the connecting lines to the engine bay from the tank so thinking removal & cleaning (tank).
So my question is if the tank needs replacing what are my options as I see most suppliers only list 73 -79 tank that needs modifying, what's the mod, anyone know anyone that can fab an ally tank?
