Hi, new on here and to Bus ownership. I've owned this Bus for nearly a year and done nothing to it, not even cleaned it as been busy working on my 69 Fastback Project.

1970 Bus from California but spent some time in Utah and has Hill Air Force Base stickers from Utah.

Chassis appear solid as rock with factory fresh paint under the flaking under coating. Body hads its fair share of dents and dings and a bad repair on the sliding door and rear arch but was cheap as chips........

Spent the day removing the front seats, rubber mats and years of dust, rat shite and birds nests... floor not bad at all. Needs usual front cab floor repair.

Nice old bumper sticker from Hill Airforce Base in Utah
Looks great! Seems to have been a good buy.
Have fun fixing it up!

if it jams.... force it.... if it breaks... it needed replacement anyhow...

Looking forward to reading this rebuild [emoji106]. Love Savannah Beige.

Removed the rear seat and cleaned out all the dust and rubbish. No rust at all, dark patches are caked on dust.....

Also worked on the rear valance, when the Bus came over it was chucked in the back and looked as if it had been run over...spent a few hours on it with a hammer and dolly and a home built mini english wheel. Result not bad at all....

That looks to be in wonderful condition generally :p now it looks a tad lowered and praps narrowed too??? :?

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,be good for next summer hopefully

Its not bad tbh but does have its fair share of bumps and scrapes and a few dodgy bondo repairs. Chassis is rock solid tho.

It will be low and narrow but just propped the wheel up to get an idea of the look.
