I succumbed to cutting out the replacement older front nose as the indicators were higher up, it turned out better than I thought and it’s getting there. Thanks to all the advice I got from here, it was much appreciated.
I used an air saw for the cut out, leaving enough to do alignment of the new panel then rustproofed and primed.
