I'm after a bit of help-

With being abroad I'm not up to speed with current prices and might be selling my van in order to go for a LHD (makes more sense here). I know you can never be exact but what would be a realistic price for a 72 tintop Danbury in decent nick? It is mostly stock with all the furniture and head lining present and in good condition. Mechanically sound except for a couple of oil leaks which a top half rebuild would sort out. Bodywork is basically good except for the battery tray and some tidying up. Also has two big solar panels on a roofrack which can run a fridge and/or recharge camera batteries- apparently cost the previous owner lots but i just like them for the cold beer!

What would be a rough realistic price rather than a fantasy asking price?
I've spotted a van that I could buy and do up but only if i can fund the whole project from this one.

What halpint-fighter says really.

Mine too is a '72 tin-top, and I paid £7.5k a year ago. Mine is sound and original, but would benefit from some tidying up too. :)

Thanks for that both of you. Sounds like prices haven't really dropped so my new project might be on the cards, still can't decide for sure though!
