This Westfalia tintop weekender is 100% original, 100% first paint, 100% documented and registered for the last 39 years.
This bus has been with 1 owner for it's entire life! It was garaged from 96 at 86270 miles, as a new car arrived and used as a daily driver. From that time it didn't leave the garage. Quiet exceptional as all maintenance records, vw dealer engine upgrades, purchase receipt, key renewal lable, option punch card, throughout registration and insurance doucuments where needly filed by it's owner.
This link will give you a better idea of the car with pictures detailing parts of this original bus:

It's first paint show's patina from the southern sun and high temperatures. The gravel used on the roads has damaged the paint on the lower front and in the wheel wells. It chipped away the some small spots of paint, there is no damage on the sheetmetal though! This car is 99% rust free, as 2 small 1"holes can be seen next to the batery, thats all.
On the rear right lower corner a small local damage can be seen, just below the rear light a indent is visable.
The good:
-Unmolested car
-Body of the car
-100% 1st paint, what you see is what you get (no hidden surprices under fresh coat of paint)
-Interior 100% original and unmolested westfalia weekender
-Mechanical 100% (it will need 2 cv joint boots, headlights for M.O.T / RDW)
-Original engine (1.7ltr) *CB036505* with 2 solex carburators installed
-Original transmission, smooth shifting without gear-grinding
-Airconditioning installed (original VW USA), not tested/pressurised
-Electricals 100% working
-Fully documented history, all records available
-Tyres 100%
-maintenance carried out on engine / brakes (fluids, lines, filters, plugs, wires etc.)
-Original tools / jack / spare tire (new)
-Front hammock / child cod original
-Curtains original (though moldy)
-Vented windows with mosquito netting
-Heating system works perfectly
-Engine compartment can be locked, 1 key fits all. Original VW key and spare one
-Doors and lids close perfecty, no wear on hinges or sliding system
-Door panels are like new
-Chrome parts are perfect
-no play on stearingbox
-power brakes / brake assist
-all glass original, all stickers and decalls are original
-import duties paid for europe
The less good:
-Both front seats need re-uphustry, seat pads are good
-Original yellow/orange upholstry on rear bench is cracked in sun-poundet places
-gravel damage shows on paint
-Stearingwheel shows cracks (heat dry-out)
-No radio, (I think thats good, no holes made in panels!)
-Inner slidingdoor handle broken
-Missing 1 engine sheet metal cover on the bottom side
-Indent on the lower rear right corner
-Front bumper needs to be replaced
-Front grille/ fresh air intake needs paint. It's original to the car though
-Rear top cabinet handle broken
-Rear right light assembly cracked
Bus has been transported from the USA (south) to The Netherlands where it can be inspected. Currently its garaged in Rijswijk. Asking 10.900 euro
