Evning all.
Went for a 250 mile roud trip at the weekend and noticed a fair amount of leaks since getting back so want to pull the motor out (AGAIN!!!).
Question is... Can i pull it out Late Bay Style or do i have to remove the bumper etc to get it out?
Want to remove it without stripping the back end down to save a bit of time as it has splash pans, towbar bumper etc fitted.
Can it be done?

Thanks

Rich :)

Course you can Rich , TBH I prefer taking the rear bumper etc off as you dont have to lift the bus into the air . But if your going to , pop the bus on a pair of car ramps or a good tall set of axle stands ( Halfords do a 3 tonne pair of axle stands for 28 quid) . Then just undo ,lower to the floor and slide her out . If it helps put a piece of plywood sheet under the engine then you can slide the wood out and bring the motor with it ;)

Its just like doing it on a beetle

Cheers Gadget :)
I work in a Garage so il just hang the arse end of my Bus off the 4 poster ramp  .
Just didnt want to end up with the engine hanging out pricariously (SP?) just to find out i needed to take the bumper etc off in the 1st place

Cheers again.

Pale blue to the roof 1970 H reg with Danbury pop-top. had some work done a few years back
at 'Classic and Modern' on Windsor road started to get a bit pricey though..

Ken at Thompson Bros Kempston does my MOTs - great guy looks and sounds like Mike Reid (Eastenders not DJ !!) but harder !

Not out and about all that much sadly..

Cheers

Phill Smith (Classic And Modern) did some work for me once on my old Bay.Quoted me 600 then charged me a whole lot more. Even had to sell my daly to get it back. Took a few years to get over that one i must admit.
