Air outlets to heat exchangers

Recommendations please for best pipes to buy from air outlets to heat exchangers. Currently have the aluminium tinfoil type which have ripped while fitting my Vintage speed exhaust.

If you mean the fresh air pipe? I bought some Silicone flexi pipe on EBay. Chuffed with it. I also have a VS and this stuff sits on the pipe that goes to the engine from the exhaust, I thought it may burn through but so far so good.

Why did your foil one rip? There are rubbers that go through the tinware, and the pipe shouldn't be near the exhaust?

Removed foil pipe when I was fitting exhaust. Tried to feed it back through tinware and reattach it to heat exchanger but it clasped and rip a bit. Plus it looks *****.

Haha, be surprised if we've not all done that! I'll get the eBay link in a bit. Also I think it's machine7 that do stainless steel ones. I didn't try them as I wasn't sure the right side would fit properly with the VS exhaust. I've modified mine a bit because I've used T25 heat exchangers.

Have just updated the price, it will change to £24.50 overnight tonight, this is enough to do both side's, so not as bad as all that as the other types you will need to buy two of each!
