Hi
I used a carb rebuild kit from GSF and after cleaning/fitting kit I still couldn't Quite get it set up right.On further inspection,there was fuel leaking now and again from the spindle bushes and a bit of play in the shaft.
Quick search on Ebay and I found this guy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vw-camper-beetle-solex-31-34pict-3-carb-repair-bushes_W0QQitemZ270503191951QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3efb3f258f" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I fitted them to the carb last night.Heres a pic of the old bush

First impressions looking good,no play in the shaft :D .Going to try and set it up later today,I'll let you know how it goes.So far its cost £32 for the bushes,carb cleaner,rebuild kit and an extra O ring as one of them split.......Dave

(Edit) No more leaks :D and it ticks over at 850 rpm :D
