New 'universal' accelerator cable fitted this afternoon.. Quite pleased with it if I'm honest, seems much better than the other one I had that turned out the be too short...

Anyway, I'm a bit pissed off with the bus this afternoon... The engine has been running fine for weeks now, but it ran dry last weekend and now I can't get the bugger to start after putting in more fuel....

I am going to check for dirt in the filter and jets, although surely, all 4 jets cannot be blocked simultaneously? Also go to whip out the plugs and give them a clean just incase they're soothed up as a result of running it at idle only since it first started up.. Will also check for a spark...

Watch this space! The battle continues!

that's always frustrating. I'm battling with carbs on my type3, sometimes you can't seem to see what's happening...

Once I replaced the fuel pump, I drove it out of the garage for the first time!

Rear bumper and engine seal now fitted. I've got some new shocks, a pair of mirrors, a BugPack breather kit, new sun visor clips, a roundel and a battery clamp to fit before it's first MOT which is booked for the 25th Jan... I booked in a date to give me a date to work towards!

All work carried out under the keen eye of my inspector!

I've been going through the list this weekend getting as ready as I can for it's MOT next saturday....

Jobs completed:

1) Install front shock absorbers
2) Install oil breather kit
3) Install jail bars on rear window (not MOT essential I know, but you gotta have some fun right!?!)
4) Install roundel
