A key day in my project today... my bus was collected from my home and taken to Slamwerks for a smack with the lowering stick...

Craig from BC Recovery did the moving for me, I can't recommend him enough.. on time, exceptionally polite, VERY respectful of your bus and generally an all round good egg!

Some pictures from todays activity....

Hey Shorty glad to hear you made it. I'm yet to brave the journey to Derby. The snow has really screwed my plans.

I can't beleive that is stock ride height. It looks like it's been jacked up. Can't wait to see it sitting pretty.

By the way, your misses is going to crack the ***** when she realises you've used up all the cling film.

I thought it was looking a bit high myself... There isn't any interior or engine in there mind...

I am sure Guy will have fun bringing it down!

Great progress being made at Slamwerks by Guy!

Adjustable springplates already fitted, now got the front beam off ready for the new one!

Looking good shorty mate! Can't wait to see the end result!
Buddybox is looking mighty cool also!
When are you due to pick your bus back up? If its Saturday, I'll be checking in, as you check out, lol.

Did you take the progress pics, or are they courtesy of Slamwerks?
Its going to be a bit far for me to travel to take pics of progress, I really hope he is willing to snap a few shots for me, for my build thread.

Hell Yes. Looking good Shorty. When do you pick it up? Shame you can't drive it home. How narrow did you go in the end?

I'm chuffed with the work they've done.. I'll be collecting at the end of next week.. After much deliberation, I went for a 2" narrowed beam..

Wow! Much better shorty!! Bet you can't wait to pick it up.
12hours and counting, mine will be there! ;-)

Cheers Foz! I'm chuffed to bits I really am! I won't see the bus for another two weeks... It's off somewhere else first before coming home! (But you knew that already! LOL!)
