Yeah, that'll work and stop the aluminium dulling off quickly.

I have this nano-technology stuff I used on the yacht stainless in October that works more or less the same way as the Belgom. The stainless is still as shiny now as it was in October so I'm gonna give that a go 8)

Nano technology? I'm out of my depth here!

Im gunner give this a go. :)

My buddy at work who does a lot of metal polishing recommended exactly the same stuff... Guess what I've got coming in the post!!

Also, for the smaller detail I was recommended to buy a 1.5"x0.5" white stitched wheel.. So I did.. I'll let you know how I get on fella's..

I briefly caught up with my bus at lunchtime today after it was delivered from Slamwerks to Bromsgrove auto trimmers...

This is the first time I've seen it since I dropped it off at Slamwerks, so the first time I've seen it lowered and narrowed.. I'm chuffed with the results.. well chuffed :D

I took some measurements while I was there to compare before & after...

Front before:

Front after: Now 7" lower :D

Rear after: Now 6" lower (I might raise this up a little for now as the clearance of the driveshaft to the chassis IMHO is not enough.. but I have a plan to solve this!!)

And a picture of the bus' stance now:

Finished one of the louvred windows now.. I reckon it's taken me 8 or 9 hours work to get it to this standard.. and it's far far from perfect.. but it will do, it's certainly an improvement over what it was.. I can always have another go at it another day if I'm not happy with it after it's installed...

I'm quite pleased with the results given I've never done any polishing of metal before..

No Just, they aren't photoshopped you cheeky bugger! :lol:

I used a metal polishing kit bought off Amazon for about £12, plus some dust masks and some belgom, mentioned above and job jobbed!

The kit I bought is here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pro-Max-Aluminium-Brass-Metal-Polishing/dp/B0050HW88K/ref=sr_1_37?ie=UTF8&qid=1359916674&sr=8-37" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
