Over the winter i've noticed water getting in through the rear lid window rubber, so now i've noticed it, i ordered one from C & C (came very next day) and fitted it with the mrs help:

Some over spray near top, not really too dry just not very tight anymore

Nice bus

Can you tell me who made the seat covers and what colour they are as they are exactly what I am looking for to go in my '71?

Hi there and thanks 8),

The covers are TMI bought through Heritage and the material/colour is smooth vinyl/14 beige, and basket weave/04 beige with matching piping, pay attention to the padding underneath to get the best fit possible. Door cards are matched in beige.

I already loved this bus, but now that I have bought a '71 Westy too this bus really is an inspiration. 8)

Hey thanks for the kind comments, do you have a gallery thread on your new westy?

Edit: just searched and found it, very nice!

So finally sorted my last bit of westy furniture that was missing - the overhead locker. I could only find a tin top type that is a bit taller, so it needed cutting down to suit. Thanks to two people on here i obtained the locker and got a good tracing of one from a poptop, now the pics:

Here is the only pic i could find of the original height!

The middle divider also cut down and being glued back together - note the trims, the thicker one was sprayed to match the colour

The completed locker, at some stage may replace the wood but for now this will do nicely

And fitted to the van - using some cardboard to hold the rather sagged roof ply up, another thing to replace at some point
