I'm trying to work out how accurate my speedo is reading with my new 175/55-15 tyres and wheels by comparing them with the original size (185/60-14...am I right?) by using a tyre calculator. It tells me that that at 60mph on the original 14" tyre, it would read almost 60.5mph on the 15", which is close enough for me, however the gps/speedo app on my dearest's phone tells me that it's out by about 10mph at 60mph. Which do I go by, as it's doing my head in! Cheers.

You got the stock size wrong. Should be 185 82. Speedo difference of 15% which explains the 10mph.
