I have a Cali import westy with the US Hook up connector on the side

I want to use the space currently used but need to replace fitting with UK version or get a US fitting to put on the lead inplace of the UK version any ideas.

Can't find a US plug int he UK and most US places will not ship to UK

Any ideas

I tried to suss this one out to no avail :? Posted on the samba, and they call in a 15A RV hook-up, looked for a socket (to put on the end of a uk (16A) lead but couldnt find anything on US sites.

I have an electrical wholesale co. and non of my suppliers could help either.

The UK 16a flush socket is bigger than the US one u have on your van, so short of taking out the US one and cutting a larger hole (some have done) you stuck with a useless socket.

I found a Co in the US that supply them but they wouldn't ship to UK.

A friend of a friend is going to sort it for me

I have one but it's got a break in it somewhere , I know not a lot of help, but our intention was the same as yours only we where going to use the cable as a pig tail to connect into a uk 240V hook up

I replaced the whole unit with a UK fitting. Kept the US one back for stock. No cutting etc needed, fits existing aperture perfectly. Only a screw driver required to do the job...
