got some of those old 'lucas' style fog & reverse lights to bolt to the bumper, can't decoide whether to put them under the bumper or on top. I'm leaning towards the top as like shiney chrome accesories.

ANY PICTURES FITTED TO BUS PLEASE TO HELP ME DECIDE ?

we can only aspire (or take out a huge bank loan) :D

Glad I've seen some pics. I thouight they might stand out too much but they look quite subtle when fitted on the top. I have a fog (for the RHS obviously) and a reverse.

exhaust is a bosai south african only standard vw issue..very rare and i have a spare one but i`m keeping it

Dont want one just wondered what it was as it looks like a beetle zorst.

whacked out the gearbox and found the wiring for the reversing light switch. I was tying up a 'white' wire in the engine compartment and had no idea what it was for, but its there and hopefully ill be able to rig it up when the new gearbox goes in.

do all gearboxes have the switch/wire or do I need to put a switch in? p.s. I notice the wiring for the factory wired reverse lights in the Bentley manual come straight off the coil? unless I 've read it wrong.

no you will have to buy one if its not fitted there will be a plug in the nose cone to house it...I believe if you look on vw heritage theres a pic of the gearbox and the switch location

back on topic, I'm trying to figure a way of mounting these without drilling my bumpers. the best I can come up with so far is a stainless steel bracket, mounted to the bumper iron, that comes up from around the back of the bumper and then mount the fog lamp to it.

I was thinking of buying a triumph stag fuel pump bracket and modifying it.......
