Hi all as title says did any body go,to dub freeze I went with a pocket full of doe and full of exccitment and only spent £80 I thought I'd gone on the wrong date lol it was well busy outside and dead inside and loads of empty stalls with hardly any auto jumble. This is my fav show so I hope it's back to normal next year or I mite have to find somewhere else to splash the cash

Hi
Me and my mate Dave went, as you said lots of empty stalls, last two years it was rammed, went with a load of cash only bought a few bits because the prices of used parts where astronomical from some sellers, when are they going to learn that people are sick of being ripped off, and thats why people wont buy the stuff, also noticed that the discount some of the big sellers offer is ********, looked at one seller about three weeks ago the item i wanted was £100, i thought i would wait until the discount kicks in to get the usual 10%, went back on the site a week before the show the item was £110 with the show discount made it £100 so like i said its ********, the organisers should make sure that the discount is an honest one, or tell them they are not welcome, they will soon change there ways

I went. I wont be going again for the reasons above, inc the juice and entry i was £60 down before me and the mrs got inside. Although I did get to meet the talented butty and bought a throttle linkage kit from him. All the parts i wanted seemed alot more expensive than i'd researched before hand. A NOS deluxe LHD sliding door bracket (the one with the chrome U) was £550!!

WTF! So much for a cheap hobby these days!! Gonna be the death of the scene!

As Rob said (vinvan) we were a little surprised that some of the stalls were empty, especially on the top balcony. Maybe a new approach by the organisers is needed to get the punters back for next year. I am now a doubtful.

Well tbh I still enjoyed it. Had lots to buy and got most of the things I needed at good prices. Yes some items were over priced but I wasn't looking for big value items so was OK. I got good deals from Schofields as well as the auto jumble. I was talking to one of the regular sellers who had been moved upstairs and one that had been moved from just inside the main auto jumble (where he had been for the last 10 years), both to the main hall area and business was slower for both of them. They reckon that they moved a lot out of the autojumble area to create more space for the show and shine which creates more revenue for the organisers which is a pity really as I go there purely for the auto jumble. I also found out that the show actually started at 10am but on Facebook was advertised as 9.00am so there was a lot of confusion early doors. I guess we will have to hope they realised the mistake and go back to the way it was.

I was let in at 9am.
Can't say it was anymore overpriced than any other show, but there was nothing there that will have me driving back up the M5/M6 next year.
