I purchased some steel tube some time ago to replace my rotten handbrake cable tubes. I tried fitting one this week and failed! It was too stiff and once I had it fitted I found due to the shape I had made around the torsion tube end, I was unable to thread through the handbrake adjuster threaded part!! I cut it out and need to order less rigid tube. The stuff I had was 9.5mm ID which is perfect for the handbrake cable sleeve and 12.5-13mm OD but it's just too stiff to work. I need thinner walled stuff

Anyone have a solution? I think I saw JK or M7 (or may have been Autocraft) had them in stock at £25 each but not sure it is any better than what I have and it seems hellish expensive!
