They are Crypton Tuners.......a bit like a heart monitor for engines if i remember
they wire it up tell you whats wrong and thats about it .

I have to agree with some of the earlier posts....Awesome and deffo like something from Flash Gordon or Caotica (startrek Yoyager) I used to own a hillman avenger that did 16mpg The bloke I took it to had the next generation after those. He got my petrol consumption down by half with it. Well worth looking into. But those look better suited to setting up a lightening shield. Don't be put off trying though. The best place to go is an old mechanic's garage and pick his brains. In your shoes I'd clean those up and have a play. Instructions will be out there somewhere on Betamax....
