I fitted rear belts to my Danbury recently and when I put the interior back in the rear seat wood goes directly over the mountings in the rear bulkhead so I've had to remove them again!
I've put two pic's below although at the moment the mounting holes are covered with insulation so can't be seen but you can see where the wood covers them.
It looks like I need to mount the belt buckles right in the very centre, but there are no mounting holes there. Clearly I can't go cutting/welding by the fuel tank so other than have no rear seat belts or hack the wood about I don't know what option I have?
Could I bolt a suitable thick piece of steel across all 4 mounting holes and then bolt the buckles to the centre of this so that they appear in the middle of the wooden seats? I'm not familiar with what I can/can't do for seatbelt regs & safety.

Those 2 wood pieces are backrests for the 2 buddy seats, if you do a search of 'danbury' you'll find some helpful pictures of how it all fits, hope that helps :)

That's interesting, I always thought these were the back seats and two other bits of wood I have are for the buddy seats. So I don't need these pieces at all? I'll have to google to find some pics.
Thanks

Well fark me, I found a great thread on here with loads of pics, you are spot on, Ive owned my bus for about 10 years and never realised these weren't for the back seats, you learn something new every day.
Cheers very much!
