I have just halved my mobile bill every month  :thumb: for the next 18months and my contract is only on for another 12 so i can pass the discount of £20 to my next contract.

i fancied an iphone, but im not paying 75 quid a month for the new 3gs one from 02

phone them up, im on a 45quid tarriff at the mo, 1200 mins 500 texts, told em i wanted to cancel

got a new 18 mth contract, lg gt505 smartphone free, 1200 mins, 500 texts, unlimited landlines, and unlimited internet, best bit £24.47 per month, saving me 360 quid a year in line rental

works like a charm

You can get an I phone cheaper than that dude, looking on the car phone warehouse you can get 600 minute/500 texts for £35, that's surely enough minutes???

not for the iphone 3gs, the new version, plus the tariff they gave me is 24.47 a month for double the minutes etc of the 35 quid 02 tariff

I got the 16g 3gs on friday £35 a month paid 87 for the phone i think but selling my old on to pay the cost. 24 month deal though. Well pleased I heard about this

We just tried and got told that they can only do a deal if you have gone over your allowance in the last 3 months and thus would have been affected by call connection charges in the past and in the future. If we wanted to cancel we would have to pay the contract out. No win here I am afraid  gutted, sick em boys........

Phone again dood, they are trying to fob you off. ;)

I just phoned them 5 minutes ago about another issue and when I asked about these increased connection charges, was told " That's not going ahead now"
If true, then those who have got themselves a deal have been rather fortunate!

I called and got out of my contract quite easily - Ive not had 'the text' or exceeded my allowances.
They are sending me a PAC code to use in 30 days ... Im not sure what to do next, but an iPhone is one the cards :)

Yeah, I may end up doing something like that. I actually am quite happy with my current phone (N95) and deal (Dolphin 35) but thought Id take the opportunity to get out of another 12 months of contract while it was there. I guess I got swept along on the hysteria!

well i tried on monday i always go over my mins but they wouldnt give me a deal said i can cancel if i want but no deal.i said you would rather lose a customer than keep them sweet and all they said is there is nothing they can do until im due my upgrade next month.

I just called to be advised that they are not going ahead with the increases.

They have obviously realised it's cheaper to do it for new contracts than give away massive benefits.

To be honest I have never got the mobile thing they **** me off royally and its sad to say they are a modern day neccessity

Heres my latest
