well, i am thinking about it to do some shows in england,the bushype is much bigger in your country and there are far more swapmeets.

If not can you give me some tips please!? I have a long board, so not looking for big waves. Your advice much appriciated, cheers Daz 8)

hi,Daz , indeed, you,better check with magicseaweed,i have'nt surfed Carnac yet so i can't tell you anything about the spot,sorry.

but Lacanau has some very nice clean longboard waves especially in the morning when only the locals are out,super vibes then 8)

but as you know , Biarritz is THE PLACE to be but crowded during summer(what is left of it °)

anyway ,enjoy your trip and keep us posted.

Hey Dubberdaz,

I hear you are going to Morbihan ( it is the name of the "departement" ( equivalent of your counties ) for your holidays. I live in Morbihan ( but unfortunately not by the sea !).
There no surf spot in Carnac that I've heard of, the most famous places are the Quiberon peninsula, Guidel Plage and Sainte-Barbe.

Apparently, there are also great spots in Finistère ( north part of Brittany ) at La Torche or in the Crozon peninsula ( "presqu'île" in French ).

While you are in Brittany, look out for other buses ( there are quite a few ) and for the local brand of surfwear, Kana Beach ( it is a pun of course )

Greg, Rony and Paddy, thanks very much for that! Quiberon is about 10 miles from where we are staying, (as long as the sun holds out or we are going south till we find sun!) so looking good for some surf
Shame you won't be around Paddy!! I will have my camera for any nice vans i may spot :wink: Can't wait to get going now, hope to have as much fun as you seemed to have Greg 8)

Well we made it! We are near a place called Vannes....this keyboard is weird...ZERTY not QWERTY :? Weather has been great and a good suntan on the way Van has not missed a beat so far with 600+ miles under the belt. Only seen a couple of Lates and 1 Early (uk dormobile 8) ) and a couple of splits, all UK vans. Will get some pics up when i get back dudes
