Badge on or Badge Off?

Thinking about the VW badge on the front clip and when mine starts to go back together but Im not sure whether to put it back on or not..

I think the VW badge is all part of the classic dub but at the same time it lends itself to that pre-conceived image in people's heads about 'hippes' and 'flower power' :?

Lets see some pictures of ratty busses with no badges on...... 8)

I'm currently running badge off (sorry no pics as i'm at work!) and after i (eventually) get it resprayed i'm seriously considering leaving the badge off, quiet like the way it looks

I had the same dilemma. I stuck it on with blue tack for now, so I can easy get it off!

The pics are not a real comparison as there is a load of bits missing!

i am currently badge-less but i'm leaning towards refitting it.

the thing is i'm very reluctant to start drilling holes to fit it. is there an aternative method?

IMO they look unfinihed without the badge. unless you go all custom and remove the grill as said. then they look even more un finished :lol:

I'm not sure about rebadging mine so I've had a quick play on photoshop (don't laugh!)

And I've had this in mind for a while some pinstriping with some Roo's pinstriped on to resemble the VW Australia logo
