Battlesbridge 16th-17th May

Hi

Im pretty new to this site as i only purchased my 1st vw camper 9 months ago. Its a 71 Westy import which i have been doing up since it arrived in the uk.

Anyway the point of the post. I was wondering if anybody on this forum is attending Battlesbridge this weekend as it would be nice to say hello to fellow bus owners who use this forum or who live in the Essex area.

Welcome to earlybay.
Like you I've only had my Bay a few months and will be attending Sunday.
All being well I'll be there,so look out for a Lotus White 69 single cab import sitting on BRMs.

loads of us from suffolk bugrs are gonna be there on sunday for the day, theres also an early bay lineup probably going on sometime over the weekend so lok out for the banners, gary( slammed resto ) is on the case with the organising so drop him a pm if ya like......he lives in your area.......good little show , been a few times real nice n cosy and old school,

Thanks for all the posts and i will keep my eye out for you all. Not sure if my bus is quite ready for the line up yet as its still not quite finished i.e. missing door cards and my drivers seat is still being covered so im sitting on a spare, 95% though.

Slammed Resto - is the Splitterz the club that meets in Chelmsford if so i would be keen to pop along on you next meet?
