well i was having a wee look on ebay earlier and spotted a trailer made from a late bay camper as i have a trailer for my t4 made from a vw caddy van i thought this would look cool behind my bay there was a number on the listing so i phoned the guy you will never guess how much he has the reserve at heres the link

after youve had a look and said thats quite cool even if it is a late bay £2000 hes after so after i picked myself of the floor and wiped the tears of laughter i stuck it on here

Not that much space inside really because of the floor over engine bay. Looks a bit daft IMO (very daft actually). I'm sure you could get a very lovely Westfalia trailer for less than that. Much classier, much more practical.

I'm sure a lot of work has gone into it and it looks cool, if a little impractical.

Good luck getting £2k though

yeah dont get me wrong i thought it looked good and i know from personal experiance how much work goes in to a custom trailer but at least you can sleep in mine that ones too short i can see it being relisted

Looks ok ,but would have had to cut up a whole van to make that.I can believe it would be worth £2000 in the original cost of the van plus all the time involved,it's not for me though.
If you're going to do that sort of thing, you should aim to keep it and use it,you can't expect to turn a profit to it.

Now, i can quite easily appreciate the amount of hard work that has gone into that.

But as said before, WHY....

Surely, you would put your efforts into restoring the van to be a van and get some money back for your efforts.

Imagine the wheelies you could pull if you stuck an engine in it!!!! :D

well auction ended today final bid was £1220 i think surprised anyone bid that much but didnt sell i think the £2000 could be better spent
