Beam trimming?

My b/j beam has been bashing a fair bit since I dropped the front more.

I like the ride height though and it handles real nice so, is it okay/safe, to trim off the ends of the beam where they hit the road?
They're slowly being ground away anyway btu I was thinking of grinding off the lowest points and then seam welding along the bottom.

Good idea or not?

definetly a good idea, have seen alot of people do it. dont take too much off though

Flush with the bottom of the tube or leave a bit more? :?:
