Hello folks,
It's looking like a new set of rear drums are on the cards, I recall seeing a few threads where people have fitted me drums only for then splines to round off leaving them without drive.
Have any of you fine people have first hand experience of which ones to avoid/buy.

Cheers
Sam.

Don't buy the cheap ones, mine weren't machined perfectly round and as such the brakes would pulse. CSP ones are a lot of money, but I wouldn't hesitate in buying a set of these next time around. Or find a good second hand set as the rear drums see very little wear.

We had this issue at work,
Changed a drum on a customers van due to whatever reason (I can't remember now) we then had a pulsing pedal, ended up going through 10 drums before we found one that was even remotely round (made a jig on the lathe and a DTI gauge), some were even machined off centre
We ended up buying CSP drums which are more money but spot on

I got lucky with a good pair of used drums for my own van
